Seriously, Having 1 GB of storage is awesome cuz I have to send attachments everyday from the school computer to mine. Most of them are too big for my hotmail account, so i have to use Yahoo(100mb storage) to send them. (which I despise)
I'm pissed and probably gnashing my teeth until they crack. So won't you all agree it may be a lot better to let me fume in the corner than be amongst you.

I agree. I have been sending attachments to myself for a while with Gmail now. It makes it very easy to pass files from computer to computer, or from school to home, for example.

From the first page of this thread: Gmail allows you a 10MB attachment size. That is nothing less than huge for any file I would ever want to send through e-mail.Liu Ce wrote:But are you saying there is no limat on file size transfer for Gmail?

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your invite, Kong Wen. I've been using GMail a lot to transfer bulky documents from school to home, and have been able to back up a lot of important documents from my computer. So thanks again!

Gmail is superior to Hotmail in every way. Hotmail's interface is so cluttery, and nowhere near as classy as Gmail. In addition, it doesn't have anywhere near the fuctionality as Gmail, nor does it have the spam-blocking capabilities.

I find that it's annoying to have to tell everyone my gmail account, but I've used gmail for "business"...Kong Wen wrote:Gmail is superior to Hotmail in every way. I do use Hotmail as a spam-catcher, but I use Gmail as my secret personal account for friends only. That way I am sure to minimize spam. I just pass it out to people who ask me for it (and who I trust), or if I am e-mailing someone I trust, I will do so from that account. The Comic Book Hero wrote:I find that it's annoying to have to tell everyone my gmail account, but I've used gmail for "business"...
