Who's excited for Team Ninja's take on a 3 Kingdoms action game? I know I was thinking how awesome it would be the share it here when the first announcement came. Looks like Team Ninja decided to celebrate the return of The Scholars and released tons of info!

I agree with the monster stuff. I think they went with that angle due to DW already being a thing. They probably wanted to differentiate the 2 seeing as how both are under the same company.

They did monster stuff because it's yet another Souls game. That's all. It's not like they don't have ten million other Warriors IPs.

The demo for this one was kinda fun. They've apparently made multiple changes due to feedback from it, so I'm curious how much of a "Souls/Nioh" it'll actually be.

Where interesting enemies and encounters are required, stuff like monsters are almost necessary. Fighting humans in the way you do in soulslike and nioh games is boring.

Meh, Nioh games have enough differentiating them that it's not just another soulslike.

I've never played it before either, but it is an action RPG with stats and leveling in addition to action combat. Watch the gameplay videos. They should give you an idea of what to expect.

Yeah if the reviews are decent I'll probably end up getting it eventually since it's 3k. (I rarely buy full price new games.)
