Hefei: Qilin vs. Tigers

Unread post by GuoBia »

For those who haven't watched the game, don't read this until you have!

What a great upset! Even the pundits were surprised.

By the third inning, the score was up 4-1 Wu. With Cao Ren out with a bad shoulder and busy with Zhang Lu, it seemed like Wu was going to sweep an easy victory, with Zhang Liao only managing to salvage a few runs here and there.

After seeing Sun Quan at bat, I see why he should stick to being an fielder. We went and observed him during practice- outside a match he's stunning, but once he's at the bat something happens and he just can't take it. Not like his late brother and father, that man, but he's worth every bit as a team captain.

Yue Jin was initially a shining star, but lost his concentration when the things went downhill for Wei and started performing quite badly.

It was in the third inning that things went badly for Wu. Lu Meng got a bad sprain on his arm but insisted on continuing, as if he didn't that would have left Sun Huan as a replacement. Then Gu Li tripped and took a bad fall, scraping up his entire face. After that Chen Wu broke his leg, making it impossible for him to continue playing. Wu pressed though.

However, this was all too much, as Zhang Liao, seeing the Wu players dropping like flies, rallied and turned the game around by the six inning, with a score of 4-26.

In the panic though, there was a bit of redemption for Wu, such as Gan Ning and Ling Tong in those tiny, tight short-shorts, mmm boys, working out hard I can definitely see! What a shame that we had to see those muscled buttocks only when they were running out desperately trying to catch Zhang Liao's powerful balls.
Guo run! Guo run!!!!

Bwahahaha.

I'm not sure how I want to interpret your last sentence, though.

I know how GuoBia intended it, and I know how I'm reading it and believe me there not the same

Dude, forget Hefei. Did you see that game at Yiling? Wu's pitches were on fire!

You think that was so great? It was nothing. You kids should've seen the '08 team during the Chibi series. I mean, I might've lost twenty yuan betting on the defending champions, but c'mon, no one saw that one coming, especially after the shellacking they gave the Jing Not-quite-Southlanders the same season. It was like those guys didn't even show up to the game!

I miss the old days. You whipper-snappers with your wooden oxen and fancy new repeating crossbows don't know about Lu Bu calling his shot or Zhang Jiao and the Yellow Sox. And we had to walk six miles through snow to be slaughtered for our lord back then. Your generation just doesn't know!
I don't write fanfic, but if I did it would involve Zhou Yu and Zheng He fighting to win the heart of Lai Choi San. Then I'd make them join forces to fight Ming the Merciless, who secretly works for Master Li. I'd squeeze Lu Bu in there somehow.

I did!

Their skipper Cao Cao called an awesome game back then. He just looked at the other teams manager Liu Cong and caused him to call for his best batter, Cai Mao, to feign a knee injury. Sad that they forfeited like that. They may have made the game interesting.

26-0 sheesh! The Shouchun Wannabees led by Emperor Shu could have done better.

They were almost as bad as Han Fu's MUSTSURRENDER team. That was just embarrasing to watch...

Worst part was Han Fu traded his all-star Zhang He to the Yuan Hesitators for cash to finance his Chinese Opera No, No, Nan Pi. It's been a hundred years, but Ye fans are still pissed off about that.
