I didn't.
If I added it I would have had to add an even more elaborate tale of how Lu Xun muffed the ball then regained his composure, only to bean Zhang Liao in the head while he was trying to run from 1st base all the way to 3rd.
Of course, who else would be fitting for shortstop.

I was asking for that wasn't I? Ok, I fixed the story
Here's a better explanation of baseball (in Wu terms )
First base is Jing, Second base is Jiangdong, Third base is Yi, and Home is Xuchang.
The score is 0-0
Huang Gai is the pitcher and Cao Cao is the best hitter for the visiting team. Zhou Yu is the catcher. Knowing the tendencies of Wei, Gongjin calls for a screwball also known in Wu as the Flaming Ship of Death. Wu has very awesome players on the field -- Lu Meng at first base looking rather stoic, Gan Ning (in a tiny bikini *for GuoBia) at second base staring at Ling Tong at third base, with the young Lu Xun at shortstop. Huang Gai throws the pitch according to Zhou Yus plan. Cao Cao swings at lands the hit! He's runs to first while the centerfielder (guy right past second base) Cheng Pu, grabs the ball and fires it to second. Zhang Liao who was at first base takes off trying to past Gan Ning and head straight for Ling Tong at third base.
Ling Tong who is posing in awesomeness yells at Gan Ning to stop staring and catch the oncoming ball. Gan Ning turns to catch Cheng Pus ball and drops it. Lu Xun runs up to the rolling ball and hurls it only to smash Zhang Liao in the head by mistake. Gan Ning grabs the ball and tags Zhang Liao out of the game then dashes to tag Cao Cao as he was trying to reach second base in a big collision. Little did everyone know, Gan Ning steps on Cao Cao's crotch as they both try to get up. Cao Cao in utter pain and despair leaves the game in forfeit.
Now that is a baseball game!
Better now?
