A while ago I didn't give a bat's fart about baseball either! But I'm not about to let a little something like that stop it from becoming a grand hobby. After all, I'm an American. And you, by the way—you've lived in America. So you can do it too! As for a team, why not allow nostalgia to guide you?
Wikipedia to the rescue!. How about becoming a Giants fan? Barry Bonds was a big dude! (What a wonderful *ahem* natural gift he had!) I actually saw them for my first baseball game. Utah only has the Bees, and they're minor league. And I don't like Bees all that much. I do know a dude who on his website talks a lot about the Yankees, so I think I'll choose them. As I understand it they're the most likely to purchase a championship during any given year.
Do you suppose we could have an adequate discussion of backgammon on the website? It sounds complicated. Crocheting sounds complicated, and Michael's is closed. I did learn to cross stitch, however. I made 60% of a Mario.
No worries, though. There are baseball video games which feature a wide assortment of dead folk. Granted, you'll probably have to work with some of the older releases, but that's right up our alley. So we can at least check that one off. All your bases are covered. Te-hee!
