There is no Scholar of the Month for the first four months of the year.
In the first month, on the twenty-second day, Scholars of Shen Zhou Three Kingdoms Archive Search, which allows users on KMA to search through the forum for information on the Three Kingdoms period easily, is made available. On the twenty-eighth day, Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires is released in North America for the Playstation 2 and Xbox 360.
In the fourth month, the April Fool’s Day Joke begins (1), resulting in a brief spike in respect for the historical figure Xiahou Mao. On the seventeenth day, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI Portrait Project, which took place entirely on the board, is finished.
In the fifth month, SunXia is voted Scholar of the Month. On the twenty-second day, there is a major reorganizing of the forum administration. Kongming’s Prodigy, SunXia, Catalyst and Marc join the moderation team (2), and SYL, Sam, James and Kong Wen’s moderated forums are each increased by one (3). Cao Zhi, Jon, Emily, animetayl and Stuart are removed from the moderation team due to inactivity. On the twenty-seventh day, the forum migrated from Burton Hosting to Host Gator.
There is no Scholar of the Month again until the tenth month.
On the sixth month, Mei Zhen is becomes moderator of the Other Three Kingdoms and Koei Games forum.
In the seventh month, on the nineteenth day, Qu Hui, the third compiler of the history, joins the forum.
In the tenth month, Shi Tong is voted Scholar of the Month. There is downtime for both the forum and KMA, caused by a critical system error in the server. Though the system is restored, a week’s worth of data is lost.
There is no Scholar of the Month in the eleventh month.
In the twelfth month, both SlickSlicer and Lexus Fiend are voted Scholar of the Month.
