And now you can!

'Cried' made it into the final cut.
Marx!_II wrote:I also find it interesting, when I'm not stifling giggles at the 90 degree "DONG" near the center (tee hee) that the assorted colors of the words arranged seem to mirror the colors used to represent the various "other" personalities in both the games and the encyclopedia.
I've generally used colors based on themes at kongming.net for the Wordles I've created so far. Between Koei and all the placement at kongming.net I imagine people have become pretty familiar with the colors so I might as well keep building on the theme here too. It is cool having another language—colors, that is—to speak with.
Marx!_II wrote:Really, these are quite nifty. I pray you will archive them on the main site once they are all done.
If I get enough of them done, I'll definitely do something at KMA.

I love that one too.
SlickSlicer wrote:Hell yes, Emperor Dong Zhuo!
That one wasn't intentional, but I loved the placement when I saw it.
Lady Wu wrote:Are the "Cao"/"Man" and "Emperor"/"Liu" juxtapositions in Chapter 1 also intentional?
I think they both are, actually. I got lucky with 'Cao'/'Man', but it was one of the reasons I kept the placement I got. He is, after all, THE MAN. And 'Liu'/'Emperor' was something I was aiming for.

Now to figure out how to make this a background on my PS3! The full-novel one is awesome.

That was actually one of the things I had in mind. I'm pretty sure devices like the PS3 and the XBox allow an HD image like this one to be made into wallpaper, and I saved the wallpaper in the exact dimension for the task. I wonder if you can just upload it from something like a pen drive?

If the PS3 is anything like the PSP in that regard (which I beleive it is) then you could probably download it directly onto the PS3 from the site instead of having to use a seperate device.

Fiddled with it a bit and got it on there. The only problem now is that it's so bright it makes the XMB and text disappear. The PS3 doesn't let you customize the font colours... :(

I'm using the one with coloured words, and it looks nice and crisp on my screen!

Want to create a mockup (sloppyish is fine) of what might look great?

Bummer... I guess you can't edit a saved Wordle on their website. :(

Oh well, back to real work!

The same thing with a dark grey / almost blackish background would probably work as long as the colours still have enough contrast to stand out.

I'm still saving the white ones on there though, since they're just pretty to look at. :)

Have a question about a book or academic article before you buy it? Maybe I have it!

Chapter 23: Event
In a Plum Garden Cao Cao and Liu Bei Discuss Heroes

Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Chapter 23. In a Plum Garden Cao Cao and Liu Bei discuss heroes. I thought of this one the other night. Decided to base it on a dark-lit sky and lightning. Pretty fun one. It is based only on the text of this event, not the chapter. Again, 'Cao Cao' recognized as one word (Cao).
