Translation and Biography Requests

Unread post by Zhou Gongjin »

The greater parts of Chinese historical works sadly remain untranslated. Though recently many have joined in an effort to bring more translations to the english public.
If there is something you need translated, wether its information about a game or a piece from a book, post it here and we will see what we can do.
Please be reasonable in your requests, translating is a tiresome job and we are providing this service free of cost.

I hate to bring this up so soon into the beginning of this forum, but does anyone have information that leads to an english translation of Lu Meng's SGZ bio? I'm in no hurry what so ever, but I'm currently engaged in a debate with Han Xin, and need some info. Thanx in advance, Iznoach.

I would love to read Zhang Liao's SGZ biography but haven't seen it anywhere. If it has been translated I hope you guys can point me to a link or something and if it hasn't it would be great if you could translate it. I plan on being a member on this forum for years to come though so you can do more urgent requests first.

Not quite yet, but it will probably appear before long. I also want to see Sun Quan and Sima Yi, but all three of these bios are probably pretty long.

At SOC, my friend holyman is currently translating Wei SGZ bios and I am hoping he translates those of the Five Generals, he has already translated Xiahou Dun's, and we are only waiting for approval from him to post it on this site. If he does do the Five Generals it is only logical that he translates Zhang Liao's first.
