In the meantime, I converted The Three Kingdoms And Western Jin: A History Of China In The Third Century Ad, Internet Edition 2003 into a PDF, including maps, sources, and footnotes, if anyone needs it.
Please share it with us.

Also DongZhou, do u have a file or link for the history of the scholarship of sichuan? The one which goes in depth when it came to Qiao Zhou and the background of Shu Han.

And lastly, I have a pdf file of Zhuge Liang called 'kongming' but it needs a password to access it. Does anyone know the password?
Also, this is a book. I have no idea about any pdf version of it but the book is available here at amazon and at approximately £25 its on the affordable end of the academic book range!

Have a question about a book or academic article before you buy it? Maybe I have it!

Yes. Thank you very much. And I just remembered that u was the one that actually shared with me the file and the password in the first place IIRC.

If someone wanted to compile a list of links to Rafe's works in the new site layout I'll edit them into the first page of my source list thread for easy access going forwards! If no-one has the time then no worries, I'll collect the links but no promises on when that will happen!

Wow! Is this site legal? If so that's an amazing find!
Sorry for the late response.

Define legal.

Late? I asked within the hour - this is a punctual reply!

The other pdfs of Rafe’s books we shared are from works now out of print that Rafe/ANU have intentionally put in the public domain.

Is the same true for these or is someone sharing them without his permission?

Oh. I dont think RDC knows that his works are uploaded on that website.

But if its any consolation, there are many works - historical, mathematics, geopolitical, scientific - that are uploaded on the website and apparently academics also occasionally use it.

And you may be interested in this tidbit.

I will upload my PDF later today. The Online Edition from 2003 is a bit different from the printed version included on the faculty website that Dong linked, but not majorly so.

Also as nice as it is to get books for free, libgen is not a legal source. I suggest removing the link to prevent any issues. It's been the target of numerous lawsuits in America. The UK has also attempted banning their URLs several times.

If work is not legal, don't post it as could get the site into trouble. If your not sure about legality, please talk to staff before posting

Here is my PDF for The Three Kingdoms And Western Jin: A History Of China In The Third Century Ad, Internet Edition 2003.

His 2003 edition lacked the in-text art of the print version, but I have placed RdC's relevant maps at the end (before his annotations). I believe there were some minor corrections/additions in content compared to the print version but it's overall quite similar.

You can download it by clicking the little down arrow in the top right.

Many thanks Nanfeng, this'll be put to excellent use. Plus I love Rafe and his maps.
