I remember The Berzerker (Previously The Viking) as a wrestler who won by countout, held one hand out shouting "HUSS!" repeatedly, as well as running between the ropes and falling down randomly.
I remember The Repo Man (Also remember him as Smash from Demolition) stealing Macho Man's hat. The Genius was more of a manager in his later career, and I don't remember him as a wrestler but I know he did.

Papa Shango used to frighten me...a little.

I remember as kids when we would do The Berserker's 'HUSS!' and then fall on purposes. Good times indeed. I didn't know that The Repo Man was Smash from Demolition. I remember when it was Axe, Smash, and then Crush and all three of them held the Tag Championship. I also remember The Rockers (one of my favorite teams of the time) and The Fabulous Rogiuex (SP?) Brothers.

Papa Shango (aka The Godfather) was pretty creepy back when I was a kid.

For the fans of pro-wrestling, I want to know what's your stance on the current state of wrestling as is today.

I personally love the AEW for constantly putting forth a product that is good every Wednesday night and entertaining even without the audience.

I love NJPW for taking care of their employees at a time of need, which is exactly because their talents need to get paid.

WWE, on the other hand is a tough one to swallow because as much as I love WWE since it was my childhood, the massive layoffs is definitely a large black stain because they released a lot of their talent while they reported a record number of profits due to the TV and the Saudi deals.

I grew up with WWE as well (along with WCW and ECW), and its hard to keep rooting for them honestly with all the questionable decisions and booking they keep doing. AEW and NJPW both seem to be doing the right thing, and you would think WWE would try a bit harder now that they have some kind of competition again (even if it's not considered competition by some people, they surely have some other company to keep on their radar now to be aware of, and that hasn't happened in almost 20 years), but their shows and overall product are just downright boring. I usually just keep tabs on it from wrestling sites and occasionally might watch some quick clip on Youtube if something seems interesting enough to watch, but I couldn't sit through their actual shows and watch all of it anymore.

I guess the last few years have been quiet in pro wrestling, huh? Not a lost of posts here.

Don't worry, I'll turn this thread into my personal and weekly "WHY YOU SHOULD WATCH TJPW AND CHOCOPRO" thread!

Lapsed Stardom fan, not for me anymore. Plus it just isn't worth the price. Wrestle Universe gives me the same price and I get four promotions. With Stardom I get late uploads for one promotion that I just don't enjoy anymore. That isn't on the wrestlers, just Rossy and his dreadful booking.

Me and my friend are big AEW fans. We try to watch all the shows together, but I think we're about four months behind now. He used to watch WWE and got me into it, now we both avoid WWE mostly. I've tried to get into some other promotions than AEW but apart from some well known matches I find it difficult to watch a lot of shows. I never had a good attention span for watching things so that might be part of the reasons.

Anyways, I'm open for an AEW discussion, as long as it's AEW four months ago!
