But in case that link goes down someday, here's a copy-paste of the solution :
You must delete the cookies by clicking beside the URL in the Chrome address bar, and entering the cookie management from there. In this screen shot, I've circled in red the places you would be clicking. This is because clearing the cookies in the more common way by going into your settings doesn't seem to solve the issue.

Yuck...
Not sure what broke with the previous cookie, but I have just changed the cookie name for the website. This should force new cookies to be created and used for (unfortunately) everyone.

I MESSED WITH THINGS
I just reconfigured the board to use the-scholars.com *instead* of www[dot]the-scholars.com (for some unrelated reasons), reconfigured cookies, and made some adjustments to the behind-the-scenes rules managing redirects and whatnot. *Hopefully* I have done everything properly, and this should all just work. New cookies will be created. They shouldn't really care if they are www or not, but in any case, this will be a new sign-in for everyone, and hopefully it resolves the form issues. Unfortunately some things like "new posts [since x]" will be reset.
Please let me know if there are additional issues beyond the loss of cookies and signing in again.
