Most likely not. Cao was actually a fairly common surname - it's just that most of the government officials with the surname were related to Cao Cao. But there is no indication of Cao Xing being related to Cao Cao. Same with Cao Bao of Tao Qian's army, the Wu painter Cao Buxing, the eunuch Cao Jie, ...

Compared to those battles, the final battle at Xuchang is a cakewalk. I didn't lose a single unit. The hardest part was actually hitting Cao Cao... the man can block anything.

Only some of the gates can be destroyed - the ones that lock you in are completely invincible. This is absolutely ridiculous. Chang'an 2 is completely unwinnable because of those stupid invincible gates. Whoever designed this mod is a complete sadist.
