Best of the Five Tiger Generals

I would have to say Guan Yu or Huang Zhong was the best of the Five Tiger General but I vote for Huang Zhong because he proved himself to be stronger than Yu.

Zhang Fei. He was an able strategist and a great warrior while the others weren't THAT smart.
This topic is an affront to both The Man and The Son of the Man.

Ssuma I sucks.
He was okay when he was an obedient slave of The Man.

Zhang Fei, easily. He was a great alround warrior and was possibly the greatest warrior of the 3k era, in the beginning he was just brute force but once he gained experience on the battlefield he became an above average strategist, he is easily better than any of the 5 tiger generals. I'd rank them as this

1.Zhang Fei
2.Huang Zhong
3.Zhao Yun
4.Guan Yu
5.Ma Chao

Zhao Yun. He was a well accomplished general, and if we're going by SGYY standards than Guan Yu was too arrogant, Zhang Fei's temper was a liability, and Huang Zhong was too old. And though I like Ma Chao, he died before he could go on any campaigns and really shine :(

Going by SGYY it's Guan Yu no doubt.Luo purposely wrote him that way.
Zhang Fei would be a close second followed by Zhao Yun then Huang Zhong.

I think that overall Zhao Zilong was the greatest of the generals mainly because of his ablility to stratigize along with his ablility as a warrior and loyal subject to his lord Liu Bei.

Guan Yu probably did more than the rest of the five combined, so it is folly not to choose him as the "best" Tiger General.

Guan Yu was by far the best. Zhang Fei was too reckless and Zhou Yun simply didn't accomplish all that much. Huang Zhong was a great general but also a really old one. Ma Chao was also a great warrior and and smart guy but he didn't accomplish half as much as Guan Yu did for Shu.
