Sure, I can help with that. This mod was made prior to the Rise of Ieyasu mod, which you can find here, which alleviated this issue quite a bit:
http://the-scholars.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=22129What I did was allow any officers that had a range of intelligence between 230-239 be "Ansha" wielding officers so as to cut down on players getting Ansha and savestate hacking all game long which I have done myself, and it makes a game extremely dull. You can get Ambush by having someone w/ 200 intelligence.
However, the game is set up in a way that you will not be able to get any of these officers until after Wu, essentially making it an "end-game" tactic. There is no way to learn Ansha and gain TP from it as this was a mod I created prior to the Rise of Ieyasu mod which I changed this issue.
Also, keep in mind that TP gains are random for each level up. It ranges between 4-6 I believe for every level up where you learn a tactic.
It is still set up, however, for you to get officers w/ high intelligence such as Ma Liang, Pang Tong, Zhuge, etc so you can have a high TP for the middle-end of the game by learning most end-game tactics with them.
You CAN gain more TP by having mutliple types of "tactic wielding officers" in your line-up. Essentially, if you learn a tactic, but don't have an officer w/ high enough and/or low enough intelligence in your party, you will learn it, but not gain the TP for learning it. So if you level up a lot, but don't have the strategist to learn the strategy ie: you learn Miracle, but don't have Zhuge Liang in your party, you won't gain the TP. Or you learn mislead, but don't have an officer under 200 int in your party, you will have learned it, but won't gain the TP upon level up.
though the Stone Sentinal maze did start to get to me (which is the point, right?)!
Yeah, as a DOAE veteran, I felt it needed a new challenge to it once you memorize it from the original. Awesome job saving that first level up to get the elusive level 52!
Hope this helps, and glad that you're enjoying the Rise of Lu Bu! Feedback is always welcome.
