Legend of Cao Cao English Version

Discussion of other Three Kingdoms games (e.g. Destiny of an Emperor and Dynasty Tactics) and other games by Koei (e.g. Samurai Warriors).

No prob. Now that I'm done with the translation, I can focus on proofreading things more closely when I play through the game.

Good luck with finals!

Don't worry, I'll keep track of it for you. I haven't been playing these few days cause I'm busy trying to finish up a ROTK11 scenario before I go back. For some strange reason, when I set my PC to Chinese, ROTK11 doesn't work, and I have to restart every time I switch, it's a pain in the ass.

Rejoice, O Ye Masses!

Legend of Cao Cao (English Translation) Beta

open.avi (If you have a compacted version that doesn't have more than just Koei's logo as an "opening movie" after the first battle, download this.)

James:

This is for you:
Jamespatch
(Download the Beta, then overwrite Data.e5 with the one in the Jamespatch. Run ekd5-james.exe.) Your patch is 1337er than the rest because it does this, among other things:

Wait now, what is it doing above?

At first I thought you might have been evil and swapped Lu Bu out for Hua Xiong just to make it even harder for me to rescue poor Sun Jian, but I see that is Hulao, not Sishui. What is it I’m missing in that screenshot!?

Or did you call Red Hare Chi Tu Ma, ala DoaE?

Halberd! Leather! Chi Tu Ma! And other goodies waiting to be discovered! Only in the Jamespatch!

(Of course, feel free to play the regular, boring version. The Jamespatch took all of 5 min for me to put together and is just for kicks.)

Oh, fear not. The James patch will certainly be played.

I was looking at ‘Halberd’, wondering if that was what they called Lu Bu’s weapon by default. Poor guy, though. He would have been better off wearing a Plate M, but I guess that would be pretty scary so early in the game!

Haha… thanks, Lady Wu! :D

Lu Bu's chariot unit has the highest attack and the highest defence in the game already... giving him a Plate M will be... @_@

PS: You're welcome!
