The 18 new characters in the PS2/PUK (I'm assuming) versions are:

Cui Zhouping - Childhood friend of Xu Shu and Zhuge Liang.
Zhang Shiping - Gave the three brothers horses in the novel.
Lü Boshe - Cao Cao's father's sworn brother in the novel.
Shi Tao - Apparently another one of Zhuge Liang's old friends. Joined Cao Cao with Xu Shu and worked on agriculture.
Guan Ning - Guan Ping's biological brother in the novel.
Meng Jian - ANOTHER one of Zhuge Liang's old friends. Inspector of Liang province when Zhuge Liang attacked it.
Wang 悦 - No idea. Can't seem to translate this Hanzi because I don't have my good computer, which has Wenlin on it.
Wang Tao - Wei minister under Sima Zhao.

Lady Guo - Cao Pi's second wife/empress.
Lady Xiahou - Zhang Fei's wife and Xiahou Yuan's niece.
Guan Yinping - Guan Yu's daughter.
Lady Zhang - Zhang Fei's daughter and Liu Shan's wife. Also known as Xing Cai.
Dong Bai - Dong Zhuo's granddaughter/daughter (different sites give different info.)
Lady Du - Qin Mi's mother.
Pang E - Pang Yu's mother.
Lady Yang - Ma Chao's wife. Friend of Wang Yi (Zhao Ang's wife).
Lu Yusheng - Lu Ji's daughter. Wife of Zhang Bo?
Lady Li - Ma Miao's wife.

So, with the exception of Shi Tao and Meng Jian (and maybe Lady Zhang and Lady Xiahou), nobody terribly important.

Shi Tao and Meng Tian might be better known by their style names, Shi Guangyan and Meng Gongwei. That's how they're referred to in the novel if I remember right.

So all of Zhuge Liang's buddies are in.. but where's Pang Degong?

Why all of Zhuge's buddies? Its really stupid that pther officers are overlooked.

If they are going to put in Lü Boshe they should also put in Cao Song. I mean, they already have Zhang Kai in the game and he is mentioned less than Cao Song. And yes, Ji Ping should also be in the game. He could also have a special 'poison medicine' item.

Hey mates, i just wanna share this thing... i know this is out of topic but just wanna share.

I found a website where u could download all the patches for chinese San Guo Zhi XI. Here is the link... http://game.21cn.com/zhuanti/san11/ look at 　三国志11相关下载 and then the option 三国志11 修改器 城市版 then click on it to download. I think it only works with the chinese version.

and i found out a sort of "cheat" that gives u a really good in-game deal. That trainer can make the city u control looks really good. What i mean is that trainer really rocks aye ... It's like it gives you 100,000 gold, 999999 grain, 100000 each of Pike, bow, sword, horse, siege machine and tower, it also makes your castle looks formidable by giving the value of 9999.

seriously, it really is unbelievable. go check it for yourself. It will be helpful if you guys know chinese.

eemm i think that should be Wang Yue. I have no idea who is that person but given by the character, i can just say the name is Wang Yue
