Its been a while since the last poetry was posted, so I wish to add a new one :) (hope this doesn't count as double posting O_O; )

Can someone see
The lake of my soul
What touches me
What has left me this hole

Can somebody hear
The call from the night
What makes me fear
About darkness and light

I listen to voices – those who can't speak
I whisper the tales – those of the strong and the weak
I cry for the losses – those who never been count
I bled from cuts – those wounds that no one has found

I live forever, but die each day
I hunt superior, but I always stay prey
I sing while I stay silent
I am friend and I am foe
I lead the way without knowing where to go

Just another short poem

If I died another day,
Would you remember me this way?
If I cast the shadow of my arm around your shoulder,
Would you think my maturity has grown older?

Through confidence by false pretense to show I was bolder,
Were it to you I would be colder?
Through the tear sliding down my cheek for you to stay,
Were it to you to push me away?

A poetry from the Three kingdoms again

On spring - I feel joy
On fall - I feel peace
In summer - I feed Coi
In winter - I count the leaves

At dawn - I walk along the way
At dusk - I return for the day
I never sleep and never rest
For I fear the dreams dragging me away

When I sleep there is no joy
In my sleep there is no peace
I throw the fishes onto the land
And I burn houses and trees

The dawn of my dream - A road without end
The dusk of my dream - A heaven without land
I never sleep and never rest
Because this might be best

Best to us all...

Very nice indeed, very gentle and graceful.

Rhyming poetry is always so elegant; I used to compose a few myself, some of which I posted on here yeeeeears ago...they're a tad indirectly depressing though, a bit like a Michael Bay movie.

This is not my, from Cao Zhi (I think you all must have already know about this) the famous 7 pace poetry

To fry beans in to burn beanstalks,

Thus beans are crying when fried;

Grown out of the same root,

Why are we burned together?

quote from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Quatra ... even_Steps (very cool 7 pace poetry) Cao Zhi and forced by Cao Pi

xiang1 jian1 he2 tai4 ji4

Translated to english (another version)
Boiling beans to make soup,
filtering them to extract juice.
The beanstalks were burnt under the cauldron,
and the beans in the cauldron wailed:
"We were originally grown from the same root;
Why should we hound each other to death with such impatience?"

Nice :) Now I share one of Hanleng's wisdom peoms with you ^^

To speak in rhymes
Forcing words to dance
To whisper in riddles
Forcing minds into trance

What meaning has speaking
What worth does it share
What wonders does weaving
What heart do we spare

We grieve for the fallen
But only our own
If they would carry the foes color
We would leave them alone

We care not for the heart
We see only the shell
We speak the same words
But see not what we tell

So I speak in rhymes
Force people to listen
I whisper in riddles
Making their eyes glisten

But to understand me, you have to read between the words
