This is another poem that was Inspired by some drawings my Bro did:

His face is tainted
Tainted with dirt
Dirt with blood

The look in his eyes
Burning
Sharp pains hit you
But you are tempted
to look

His iron plated bust
demoralized he treks
on his horse
horse of white

he passes a tree and
he passes another
bodies lay in the ground
the cries
cries being heard from
the earth

Bloodied sword
no longer virgin sword
encased in leather
a feather
from a bird
on the arrow
that has wounded this man

this man
ravaged by war
plundered of his soul

he turns away from his fate
and gallops into the woods.
I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward, you're only going to kill a man.

Here's my poem:

Hahem!

On one misty night there
layed a warrior,
A broken sword by his side,
A blood stained sword,
Had fallen for fighting one man's
dream,

He relised it was too late to stop fighting,
He relised war is just needless,
He regretted his actions,
He prayed for his sins to be forgiven,
But in his heart he knew he would
die a killer,

Taking orders blindly without thinking,
Knowing the opposition could be your family,

How did men rule troops,
How did men tell them to fight,
How the men were expected to kill,
Risking their lives for others vain desires,

Why must wars go on,
Those warriors who fought,
Died as killers,
Died as puppets for one man's scheme,
Why can't we all be allies,

If wars do go on
I.m glad we are mortal.
Its the best i could do and is probably lame but i tried.[/color]

It would be better if you use a darker color, or just the default color. We've seen rainbows in the past and decided that we don't like it ^ ^

The Ballad of Chibi

A chill in this dank winters night,
Shivering I may be,
A flower blossoms in my heart tonight,
Like peaches on a tree.

A gust of wind blows fierce tonight,
The currents strong they flow,
The firey passion, the love for you,
We watch our friendship grow.

A fire torments my soul tonight,
Raging, scorching and hissing.
Our hands chained together, everlasting.
We're alone, loving and kissing.

I chased your heart, day and night,
Thoughts of you runs in my head,
Though I may have let your heart go on,
I still love you, even when I'm dead.

Since love poems seem to be so popular...

Love not me, though I love thee,
and have for long remembered.
For I have dreamed a thousand dreams
whilst fires turn to ember.

Love not me, for you fly free,
but I have lost those blazoned wings.
And I look up in forlorn glee
while Muses melancholy sing.

Love not me, my jubilee,
forever gone unto that place,
replaced by longing, one more time,
to feel that radiant embrace.

Love not me, though I love thee,
and you have me forgotten.

Very nice poetry. Guan Ping, I suggest you work on your meter a bit. The first stanza is a bit out of place. :)

Not one that I wrote, but I like this poem. It's from the opening movie of Fate of the Dragon.

"Three shall lead, one shall reign. With bloodied swords and tears of pain. Three Kingdoms will unit once more; or fall back into Rage and War."

Great poems! Such talent!

I like this poem, its not mine either, and its actually a song, but here it goes:

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our souls
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How Everything sitll turns to Gold
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
Where all is one and one is all
To be a rock and not a roll...

-Led Zeppelin
(stairway to heaven)

This is my poem, yet another, thats not as morbid as my others

If the mountian start
To tremble and fall
I'd still be lovin you

And though my eyes
would be clouded
in tears
I'd still be lovin you

As the end of time draws near
And the oceans dry up
My love would still be there
My love to you

And though this world
might be a barren mist
Lord knows,
I'd still be lovin you

Sorry but I absolutely love poetry, so I will make a couple of Haiku's, so they could complete me:

Crimson flag rises
Land torn in hatred and lust
For the empire.
I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward, you're only going to kill a man.
