Here's one I wrote while very bored in a calculus class...

As I wander halls of leather,
to my very soul I tether,
memories of shoes of old.

I know not from whence I came,
I am here alone in name,
my sanity I shall not lose.

Seeking answers, finding questions,
among endless rows of shoes.

Look about me, weak, bewildered,
cursed fruits of ancient gilders,
scintillating in my soul.

My spirits ever ghostly fading,
strife and worry not abating,
grappling with this crimson ruse.

Seeking answers, finding questions,
endless, endless rows of shoes.

Growing ever weak and battered,
look upon my old shoes tattered,
worn under a desert sun?

Footprints stretching back for miles,
wand'ring through these sueden aisles,
my blistered feet anguish infused.

But then, lo, my heart arisen,
twenty bucks the cashier given,
finally to make my exit,
from these endless rows of shoes!

Yeah.. Boredom will do things like that to you.

Great! You should get bored more.

This poem I wrote about a month ago heh:

A pool,
A pool, darkened
red
and deep.

Cold mists chill the skin.
Green fields, scented of flowers
grass
now the stench
of the rot

The sun is setting, to the west
my soul is deepend with grief
greif,
what is that?
If i can not sense the right
what is the wrong?

My life is meaningless
in war
war
nobody wins
I know you've come to kill me. Shoot, coward, you're only going to kill a man.

Very nice, Tso. Although the use of single words for the third lines kinda make it sounds weird. I have my entry as well. This one is from my DW3 girls wallpaper ;) Mind you, this is a 10 minutes job (just so I have something to put in the blank spot on the bottom right side :p)

Looking up to the forgotten side
We fight just the same
No voices nor weapons
Shall define our strong-willed grace

Man upon men we bestow the light
Neither one may reject
For it is us you have forgotten
And we are here to make you remember

It is in us you seek Beauty
It is in us you seek Grace
It is in us you seek Death

And when you look up upon the sun
Remember us, the Goddesses of War.

here's one that i wrote a few months ago....

" MY LOVE IS GONE "

Left here alone......

Here I am
Sitting by myself
In a dark corner with no one in sight
Not even the slightest whisper
Can cover up the sighs of my heart

The ache of the broken heart
That tells the story of a thousand words
A story that was short lived
By a fool
Who fell in love

I fell in love with the notion of a fairy tale
I didn't know how it would end
I wasn't prepared for what would happen
It caught me by complete surprise
Why didn't I see it coming?

There is nothing I can do
Except drown my sorrows
And remember the memories
Of a love that was once special
Of a love that is now gone

I can't help but still wonder why?
What did I do that was so wrong?
All I ever wanted was for you to be happy
Even if it meant that I had to cry
For you to smile

I'd always thought everything was fine between the two of us
Then I found out your love wasn't true
Your love wasn't mine
To hold on to until the end of time
'Cause your love wasn't real

Seems like yesterday
That we first met
As the snowflakes slowly fall down on our heads
With a gentle breeze of the east wind
Cutting through the silk of your shirt

As you shivered
I put my arms around you
Gently warming up your body
With all the love
That I have to offer

Now the tears just roll down my cheeks
Slowly
I can feel it slowly dripping down
Reminding me of what I had lost
And never have again with you

I have always been a person without dreams
Without any hopes in the world
Until I met you
You became everything that I can wish for
So I put all my dreams and hopes in you

Only to find that your dreams
Never included me
Never was I to be your future destiny
Never was I the one
That you loved

I was so sure of this feeling
That I had in my heart
That you would never go and leave me
You would never lie to me
But I was a blinded by your love

Now my love is gone.......

Your guys' poems are all so touching and cool... *Wipes away a tear* But I have my own poems... I have this one that I really like, but it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with my life, mind you... :P

Three Words

Three words is all I have to say to you.
To make my feelings clear.
All I can do is hope you feel the same way too.
But these feelings aren’t so easy to express,
It’s hard to get them past my lips.
My throat clenches with uneasiness
And there’s an unsettling feeling in my stomach
Because of the three words I can’t say.
The uneasy feelings get worse every time I see you,
But become even more unbearable when we are apart.
All because of the three words I can’t say.
But in the end, the result will be the same.
The things needed to be said I will say,
The things needed to be done I will do,
And the feelings in my heart will be exposed
At the expense that you may not feel the same way.
But in the end, the result will be the same,
I love you.
The three words that can make my feelings clear.
Just three words.
I love you.
I love you.

I like it, but I don't know what inspired me to write it...

:lily:
Life is meaningless. It's just a pain in the arse, and then we die. *Sigh* Happy times...

I was thinking about the first Lord of the Rings movie and I wrote this..

A knight of yore, rusty bedight
his radiant platemail now clad in decay
Wearily trot on steed so forgot
carrying time's black bouquet.

Through wilting court, past aging halls
holding grey blossoms cast to him by ghosts.
All that is left is mem'ry bereft
and into the past to coast.

Unto the throne cast his forlorn gaze
a skeleton sat in place of his king.
Ye vassal retained by battles in vain
his otiose winter without spring.

But this knight, alas, he could not mourn
he'd shed that tear in Decembers past.
All that was nigh was to lay down and die
and deliver his soul at long last.
