Help Shape the RTK movies

The Screenplays that I am writing (2 or 3 movies in length and titled Reno's Three Kings) will be modern day.

The Han Dynasty will be symbolized by a crime syndicate that keeps Reno's Three factions {(1)law abiding citizens/police[Liu Bei] (2)Casino's and white collar crimes[Cao Cao] and (3)Traffickers [Sun Jian]} on good terms.

The Syndicate is threatened by a designer drug dealer [Zhang Jiao] and his followers, later toppled by High Ranking Syndicate officers (Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu).

From the split of Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo you have the three Dynamic leaders fighting for their respective goals (restore law and order, reinstate the cartel, the benefit of his immigrant people.) and Reno is the battlefield.

My question to everyone out there is what aspects of the novel and of History do you wish to see represented. Is there a particular battle you want incorporated, a general that you want represented, a personality trait/relation emphasized, or anything else for that matter that you want brought forth.

Obviously I cannot include everything, but beside this being an epic for the everyman, my primary goal is to excite and please the lovers SanGuo. So any and all input is greatly wanted/needed.

I think what you need to do is decide now wether your going to exagerte chracters prowess or not. (you probally already have). If so I'd like to see Zhao Yun get a major part, if not Sun Jian and Sun Ce. I think the battle of Chi Bi is important and needs to be shown. I like this idea and offer you my fall support. If you need anything and i can provide it (unlikely) I will.

Here's a question of preference. Because Sun Quan was kind of a lame duck for so long, would anybody out there be upset if, when all was said and done, the final fighting boiled down to Shu and Wei?

I don't like Sun Quan anyway so no argument from me.

I've patterned out racial relations and came to the conclusion that I need more female characters. Which officers would be better served as a woman?

I'm making Wang Yun a woman.
Thinking about making Zhuge Liang/Sima Yi or Lu Xun a woman
Sun Quan Perhaps?

why not just use woman? Diao Chan, Sun Luban's seducing and political game wouldn't harm, the clever advice of Guo, Yueying or Xianying, the motherly figures of Lady Wu and Bian?

I feel as though I need more of the plot driven by strong female characters. While Sun Luban's Seduction was clever she was not as significant as Zhao Yun and at this rate his part in the first movie is going to be minor at best (in the second movie he will take a more commanding role)

Here is a list of Officers that that will be in the movie as major characters . Others will present but do little speaking.
Gender Swaps marked with an (F)
Shu
Liu Bei
Guan Yu
Zhang Fei
Zhuge Liang
Zhao Yun (uncertain how much I will utilize him )

Wei
Cao Cao
Dian Wei
Xiahou Dun
Zhang He
Sima Yi (F?)

Wu
Sun Jian
Sun Ce
Sun Quan (F)
Huang Gai
Zhou Yu

Other
Liu Hong/Bian (one character)
Yuan Shao
Zuo Ci (as a graffiti artist that functions as the poetry does in the book)
Wang Yun (F)
Diao Chan
Dong Zhuo
Lu Bu
Zhang Jiao

I already have a full cast and am reluctant to introduce more. i know Wuist will be angry that I have chosen Sun Quan to be a female. I found him most fitting because he was more or less thrust into power and that gives me ample room to explore the character's willingness and drive.

Sima Yi I'm considering and not fully decided on because I like the dichotmoy of the two great strategists one of them is male and the other is female. I'm not married to the idea yet however.

I must say this is quite interesting from the way you put it!

And some of the things that i would find interesting, would be for instance Chi Bi as Sun Fin mentioned earlier, maybe Changban, but idk how that would work out, or even Ma Chao's stand against Cao Cao.

But either way, very creative.

Where will you air them?

Thanks for the interest. Chi Bi has already been worked out and I'm sure that you will be happy with the direction it is taking.

When or where they will go up is uncertain. I have just started the writing process, which will take a while. Once I have it copywritten though, I will try to post it for all to see.
