Was alright but gave up on it during the second series.

How would you compare it to Game of Thrones?

Funny, I thought the second series was way better.
English is not my mother tongue. I hope the comprehension isn't too hard.

It probably was but still didn't find it intresting enough to continue.

Merlin or Legend of the Seeker? Game of Thrones easily trumps them both bit I assume Merlin. Game of Thrones is a far darker world then Merlin which gives the writers more leeway but even so, the characters, stories and conversations are far better written. Merlin is good for it is it is but few compare to Game of Thrones

I'm afraid I don't agree with you. I personally prefer Legend Of The Seeker... well it's a matter of opinion, but I consider Game Of Thrones extremely commercial. Though they are both taken from a book.

I've been meaning to watch Legend of the Seeker.

I have not seen Game of Thrones (as I do not have the correct channel).

commercial?

For me, Game of Thrones is a 9 or 10, Legend of Seeker hit 5/6. I found Legend of the Seeker acting to be hit or miss, an impressive villain but didn't care too much for the main three though I did like Cara, adventures tended to be fairly good at least.

Wondering if we should move the TV show comparisons to the tv thread.

Good suggestion, we don't want to spoil your merlin thread!
But could you do it? I'm afraid I don't know how to do it!

I am looking forward to a new season. Season 3 was decent, 4 was pretty good on the whole, so hopefully 5 can continue the trend.
I've a brave warrior in my army. Shen Ai is his name, and he can slay this Hua Xiong.

Wei has no more famous commanders, Shen Ai takes lead of the vanguard!

Even a commoner on the street knows what Shen Ai is thinking!

Is this about the series that seems to have a Guinevere who is Jamaican? I thought that was rather odd for pre Arthurian drama. Otherwise, yes, I prefer the Seeker, particularly the episode with th box in the cake.
