I love meat and wouldn't give it up and don't see why I should. Its natural for us to eat other animals!
Have a question about a book or academic article before you buy it? Maybe I have it!

I am a veggie. Have been for years, although I've always eaten fish... My first reason for eating veggie was living and working with a bunch of hippy-type archaeologists who were mostly veggies (and it was cheaper). Since then I found I got really bad indigestion when I ate meat, especially with heavy meats like beef or venison. So I stopped trying. Feel better for it. It isn't for everyone and it is inconvenient, so if it wasn't for the indigestion I'd go back to eating meat occasionally.

I eat meat on occasion but I always get incredibly bored/tired chewing it.

I've never understood this principle.

I actually do have a jaw/tooth issue that makes eating roast beef extremely painful.

But even when I was little, I tended to get bored chewing meat.

Me? Yes, I am a vegetarian. I eat eggs and dairy but not seafood or any kind of meat. My older sister is a vegan, but the rest of my family still eats seafood.

The local farmers' market is back! Fresh veggies! May go vegetarian for the next month or two!

I'm not a vegetarian.

I eat meat.
I eat vegetables.
I eat fruits.
I eat some seafood.

Meat gets boring after a while though. Just how many steaks can one devour in one week? Or hamburgers? Same with cooked fish. I like vegetables and can probably finish a green salad without adding condiments.

Absolutely not. The fruits and vegetables I do like cannot be eaten until killed by me.

I have a friend who cannot stand a meal without meat. He practically lives on meat, and when we go tho the supermarket, he heads straight for the meat section. The ways he cooks it are quite... weird-the other day he stuck beef in the deep-fryer :P .
I don't understand how some people can never get tired of eating one type of food meal after meal. :P
