Yeah there seems to be a blatant disregard for safety with it. I almost shed tears when I hear of children getting access to their parents guns and harming themselves and siblings and friends.

I still dislike guns.
If becoming enlightened or an intellectual means I must become arrogant and coldly cynical about the world around me then I'd gladly remain a fool for the rest of my life!!

I wasn't sure if this is advocating open carry, but unless you're on a hunting trip I just can't see civilians having visable guns in publc areas a good idea.

Open carry along with "Stand your ground" laws is a tragedy waiting to happen.

Way to easy to access guns in the states imo. And this is coming from an ex USN gunners mate.
