Sounds like Cannae ;)

What about this? Hannabal at Cannae strength with the generals he had then (Mago, Hashdrubal, etc.) vs Flavius Aetius, the Roman general who defeated Attila the Hun

You've put the Samurai against the Britons.

Isn't that a social class against a nation?

I suppose that the Samurai had profiency in melee combat, but I seem to picture the Britons like the orcs...charging until the enemy is overwhelmed.

The samurai were good at many fighting arts, like spears, katanas, and yumi. It's not that they only used swords :)

Now when you say Britons, I ASSUME that you mean teh hundred-years war British, where Longbows were abundant in the British Army.

I would say the British can let off one volley... then the thundering samurai on horses will scare the British and they'll run.

If the terrain is muddy/fortified, samurai has no hopes of winning :lol:

how about...

Aetius Flavius vs Yue Fei, two men who fought many victories agaisnt invaders to save their country, but ultimately was killed by his emperor.

The Scots were a disoranized mob, they had no chance against the samurai

Ninjas were assassians not frontline combatnets(sp). The Mongels would come in on their horses and slaugter the ninjas.

I see your using Japanese. The Japnese word for "Spear" is "Yari".

And for the people who don't know what "Katanas" and "Yumi" are, here you go:

Yumi=Bow
Katana=Long sword

How about the Huns V.S. the Goths?
