I have to disagree with the above post.
First of Zhang Liao and Gan Ning had taken of advantage of the lack of rest the troops had and for anyone who has fought after walking/running/working for a full day will know how hard it is too put much effort into anymore tasks.
Gan Ning had killed men while they slept without losing a soildier.
Zhang Liao went up against a whole retreating, tired and ill army.
Zhu Ran defended and pushed back Liu Bei's army with just 5,000 men and further destroyed several supply camps in the same process.Came back alive too...Not a strong fighter? Perhaps,a smart fighter? Definatley
Besides, just because you may be the strongest fighter doesnt mean you'll be the best fighter..Great example would be Lu Bu
Theres not much proof to weather any of them were that great in fighting (except that Gan Ning was a pirate which would require good strength).Personally I think they were all great fighters (Maybe Gan Ning being the strongest due to his background, not enough proof to say that definatley though) and even greater generals, which is what really counts in this topic.
Back on topic..I really couldn't say,I think all of them did great deeds for thier kingdoms and I dont think anyone would disagree with that.My answer;Kinda equal
