Cao Cao is probably the most talanted person in all of 3k, and his accomplishments are numurous, but was he a hero or a villian?

He was a great General, but also a despot so it is hard to say.

Hero all the way. People just misunderstand Lord Cao because he was utterly ruthless and had no qualms about crushing any opposition.. exactly the way things should be done.

Depends how you look at it. LGZ hated Cao Cao cuse he was seen as a ursping the son the heavan. Mao Zedong on the other hand, liked Cao Cao cuse he was doing the same thing as him basically

Cao Cao was mostly a villian in most ways because being utterly ruthless, killing innocents and unsurping the throne isn't probaly what a hero would do. He did gain numerous victories but also had numerous defeats aswell.

Cao Cao did not usurp the throne.

Anyway Cao Cao was a hero. But he was also a butcher.

I would say those are mutually contradictory.

Not really. At least, when I read the definition of hero, it basically just said someone who went out of their way to be courageous.(It worded it better obviously.) So, I wouldn't say there's any contradiction.

I would say a hero is someone to admire and emulate, and I hope people don't admire and emulate a butcher.

It's hard to find a hero that appeals to all. That's all I can say. :P
