The Henan history museum in Zhengzhou has Xu Yi's epitaph on display. Information about it can be read on the official page here.

I've been trying for a while to find a direct translation of the epitaph, but thus far I have only been able to find summaries of it. Does anybody know where I could find a translation, either in book or on the web?

Thanks! :pika:

I finally tracked this down!

For anybody else that is interested, a full translation and analysis is available in the following article:

Need more help.

Im trying to understand the Chinese wikipedia Guan Yu appraisal by contemporaries list. Most of them are avaliable among the translated SGZ works and ZZTJ. But these four I have difficulty sorting out and finding them.

I've been attempting to make family trees of various families based on the SGZ and other reliable resources I can find. So far, I've done what I can of Zhong Hui's family, Zhang Fei's family, the Xiahou family, and the Zhuge family.

I'd hardly call any of them "done." as they could always grow, but I believe this page may contain some names of kids I do not have listed at all. If I am correct in my assessment, I believe that this source is saying Zhuge Liang (the row in purple, the one in the middle) had 2 sons. I currently only have 1 son listed. I also heard there could be a THIRD son to Zhuge Liang, Zhuge Zhi, but I have it down as being unlikely. Any help in translating at least the 2nd son of Zhuge Liang that isn't Zhuge Zhan is if nothing else, would be wonderful and much appreciated.

I'd be interested in seeing what you've got for Zhong Hui, as I've been compiling a thing for the Zhong family. Or more-so, plan to in the future.

Hello, is it true that we can ask for help translating Hanzi?

I want to know more about a certain Princess Wannian of Han. She's the daughter of Emperor Ling (Liu Hong), and that means she's the half-sister of both Emperor Shao (Liu Bian) and Emperor Xian (Liu Xie). And no, this is different from Princess Wannian of Jin. However, so far I find about her is just this passage, which I don't understand at all. Can someone help me translate this? Thanks!

Sure thing, I'll post it later tonight when I arrive home. Hopefully it provides you with some useful insight :)

This appear to be the eulogy by Lady Zuo Fen左芬 for Princess Wannian of Jin. She was a noted poet and a concubine of Emperor Wu of Jin. When the Emperor's daughter, the Princess Wannian died, she made this eulogy in her memory
