Lu Bu and Lu Xun?

were Lu Bu and Lu Xun related in any way??

I don't belive so but they might be distant relatives. You never know. Maybe the Great Deer or others have more knowledge of the matter.

Don't think so. Although their surnames are spelt the same in English, in Chinese the characters and sound are very different.

They weren't. Neither were Lu Meng, or Lu Su related to either.

True, not only sound but writting as well. Two Lu are not the same Lu. :D

many people have the same or sounds like last name. so most people that have the same last name doesnt mean their related. its like that back then and today.

Lu Bu's 'Lu' suppose to have two small dots on the top of 'u' (but no such character in English), same for the 'u' in Nu wa, in some input systems you can input 'v' instead of 'u' for such situations, but I can see why Koei's not using Lv Bu :lol: ...

From the dictionary that I had, Lu in Lu Bu mean a song made by some exotic birds or something, whereas Lu in Lu Xun (Lu Kang and Lu Xiao Feng :wink: ) mean land. So completely different surname all together. Its like Johnson and Johnston. :roll:
