Rock of Rue

Unread postby Kongde » Wed Feb 20, 2019 5:55 pm

So I was doing a Google search after reading in the Luo Guanzhong book that The Rock of Rue still stood as of the time of the book being written and that later times even a poet visited the site. I was wondering, I could not find any resources about it on Google. Does this rock where Sun Quan and Liu Bei struck actually exist and does it still stand today?

I'll merge this into Q&A thread in a few days but hopefully someone can give a more helpful answer.

It was a novel only invent but I would guess LGZ based it off some landmark, if it is still around then I'm afraid I haven't heard of it.
“You, are a rebellious son who abandoned his father. You are a cruel brigand who murdered his lord. How can Heaven and Earth put up with you for long? And unless you die soon, how can you face the sight of men?”
