This is a list of biographies posted to our forum by various members of the board. I hope some of you will find these as helpful as I have!

The first set are based upon Sima Guang’s ZZTJ. The Zizhi Tongjian is an overall history and capnnerefir has found every reference to each figure conatined within it. A big thank you to him (and Zyzyfer) for the work his put in to these!

I'm not sure if its been done yet, but you might want to post the links on the Encyclopedia of all the officers. Dong Zhou or I are going to end up doing that when I finish off my wiki translations, I would imagine that'd be easier for people using the Encyclopedia for research.

Yeah James wants to do it but his busy whilst I have the time but I'm not confident enough to play around with the coding in case I break KMA.

I've tried to put links on all of the relevant Encyclopedia biographies like so:

It's great to add them to the encyclopedia that way. Some extra information could be conveyed, for example, by writing "ZZTJ Biography Translation", but that's not a big deal.

My hope is to create a section for these biographies on Kongming's Archives, but some tweaking needs to be done to the biography section. I'm finally starting to spend some time working on this. The first step, though, is to move all of these sites and content over to a new server. Our current server has been a little bit annoying in some various areas and for some reason I've been having trouble working with databases on their servers.

I'm working on transferring the site right now. Then some other content follows, and eventually, if all goes well, Scholars of Shen Zhou as well. Maybe we can be done with some of those bizarre connection problems.

hi. i wanna ask is there any more detailed historical biography about Wei Yan outside from his participations in Northern expedition which referred so often in SGZ or Weilue?

please let me know if anyone has precious info about him from his earlier involvements such as in Han Zhong campaign which implied he contribute greatly
