Sun Ce divided Yuzhang to set up Luling
Sun Quan divided Yuzhang to set up Poyang and divided Danyang to set up Xindu
Sun Liang divided Yuzhang to set up Linchuan and divided Kuaiji to set up Linhai
Sun Xiu divided Kuaiji to establish Jian'an
Sun Hao divided Kuaiji to establish Dongyang, divided Wu to establish Wuxing, formed Ancheng from parts of Yuzhang, Luling and Changsha and set up a separate Chief Commandant of Luling's Southern Section.
In 282 after the conquest of Wu, the Jin transferred Ancheng to Jing, divided Danyang to set up Xuancheng and Piling, renamed Xindu to Xin'an, changed the Chief Commandant of Luling's Southern Section into the regular commandery of Nankang and divided Jian'an to set up Jin'an.
Jin also changed Jiujiang to Huainan, which had been the name of that commandery during Western Han.
