Can we call them overrated if we've never been able to rate them? I suppose you could say we over rate their potential?!

Thats pretty much what i meant. :D

Though I think Guo Jia proved himself a bit more than what Pang Tong did.

Pang tong was a brilliant strategist, who I rate higher than Zhuge Liang in that regard, his death was a frek incident to say the least, and he could have changed the face of the three kingdoms had he survived.

But there are several men who could have done that as well..

Interesting, but why exactly do you rate him as a brilliant strategist?

In my opinion, Pang Tong is a bit overrated, but then again Zhuge Liang is overrated a lot more. Overall I think he is around the same as Zhuge Liang.

I think he is a genius... It was proved by his chaining scheme at Chi Bi... and then his multiple schemes during the capture of Cheng Du... I don't know else besides that since he died during the conquest... But I think he is a genius of his time if he had lived longer I think we can see brilliant strategies from him and Zhuge Liang....

Yuo he will change it by leading dangerous battles and using rushed tricks and stratiges

He is over rated , I am not talking about him in general but about his plans that he used against Liu Zhang .....

Even Lu Su is better than him by far .

Are you sure about this ?
Lu Su is not a tactical strategist, he is more like a diplomat or we can say a civil officer. Maybe he is good at negotiation skill and administration, but for military strategy, I doubt him...

Actully he was a millitary strategist , not a civil one

He led the first attack of the Jing province which led into taking halfe of it .

Also he gave many millitary advaises to Sun Quan ..
