Lü Meng or Lu Xun: Who gets credit for taking Jing?

I will begin by counting their deeds :-

1- Lu Xun convinced Lu Meng to use his illness in order to lower Guan Yunchang guard .

2- He wrote a letter to Yunchang to make him belive that there is no need to gaurd against Wu .

3- When most of the local commanders and the chiefs of the tribal peoples surrendered Lu xun dealed with them very well to gain their hearts.

1- In 215 He took the three commanderies of Changsha,Guiyang , Lingling, and the first two surrendered but Ling ling was taken by a plot .

2-convinced Sun Quan to give him orders to tak the rest of jing .

3-his SGZ is saying that he faked that he was deathly illness so guan yu was tricked ????

4- he took Yun chang city by surprise trick .

5- Dealed with the city people by the law and even excuted a close man for breaking it

5 (again )- by doing so he tricked Guan troops to come back to the city .

6- captured guan yu by ambushes

7- kill guan yu .

I would say Lu Meng despite hating him and loving Lu Xun. It's basically what the guy was known for.

Definatly Lu Meng. Lu Meng takes all of or most of Jing from Shu. Jing was a necessity for Shu and without they weren't as powerful as they could have been with it. Look what happens after Yi Ling they were in a downward spiral.

I thought that was Lu Su as commander.

Lu Su was indeed the commander, but it was Lu Meng's actions that resulted in victory. Lu Su issued a call to retreat when Guan Yu appeared poised to march against Sun Quan's position, but Lu Meng used a plot to quickly secure Lingling, having already taken Guiyang and Changsha under Lu Su's orders. So basically, credit for that operation goes to Lu Meng, Sun Jiao, Sun Gui, and Gan Ning.

Personally I hate Lu Meng because he stab Guan Yu in the back and after execute him, that's why.

Lu Meng never killed Guan Yu. They were killed in Sun Quan's palace by the executioner also Ping. IMO Lu Meng did good work, Lu Xun advised him well in the up-coming battles. I think it's even, they both did there shares.
