Very interesting choices...

At least it's good to hear that it starts filming soon.

If that person can't tell the difference between Sun Ce and Sun Quan, I don't know that I can believe anything they post. :P

I cannot wait for this movie! I'm going to see it on release day for sure. Some of the casting decisions don't sit too well with me, but I'll withhold judgment until I see them in costume.

Huang Gai and Lu Su are conspicuously absent from that list, although it may well be that they have not yet been cast. I'd also raise an eyebrow at the inclusion of the largely unimportant Xiao Qiao and totally unimportant Sun Shang Xiang (with regards to their roles in Chibi). Perhaps I'm being a tad cynical, but I wouldn't be surprised if this movie turns out to be 50% romance* and 50% special effects, with only some resemblance to either the novel or historical version of events.

* The prospect of Chow Yun Fat as a romantic Zhou Yu makes me cringe.

this film is going to be historical which is alway boring because history is alway made up and to do the real history without any sugar or spice is boring for me... however I do like chow yun fat

I doubt it. It's going to be North American oriented.......I bet you'll see some Zhao Yun flying around fighting on rooftops and Sun Shang Xiang getting in fights with Wei troops.

Then of course, there's the "Bamboo Sequence". They're trying to make money off North Americans. I doubt they'll have a star studded cast if it's a "Historical Film"

Also, I hate Chow Yun Fat........

Go to monkeypeaches or something like that. I don't think chow yun fat is going to play zhou yu. wiki is a bad source. it is going to 100% historical
