I think he would have gone to Shu as was originaly suggested and taken refuge with Liu Zhong, like he did in reality, only it would have been different if Wu belonged to Wei and would have meant they would have lost a lot quicker I think.

Liu Bei would most likly be killed and his officers now dead, Wei or Wu officers. With Wei winning at Chi Bi, they would perhaps plan themselves in Wu but they would finish of Liu Bei

No more Wu or Shu. Wei would just end up dominating China before Jin comes along.

Liu Bei wasn't the brightest of the bunch, but I think he'd be bright enough to have fled to Yi, as a Wu defeat at ChiBi would mean that Cao Cao would smash any remants left, then chase after Liu Bei. Liu Bei would be smarter than that, and probably go somewhere where he can start fresh.

What's wrong with Wei dominating China before Jin :P :) :)

Chibi was a decisive battle for survival for both Liu Bei and Wu. Most likely he'd be killed either during battle or captured and killed by Cao Cao.

Even by a huge stroke of fortune he escaped death, what could he do? A Cao Cao who holds all of the north and the Southlands isn't to be reckoned with. He could try fleeing to Liu Zhang, but Liu Zhang would probably surrender to Cao Cao pretty soon after Wu's defeat. He wasn't having a terrifically good time dealing with the powerful native clans within Yi Province, and with Zhang Lu's pressure from the North, he'd most likely give up as soon as Cao Cao sends him an ultimatum. Liu Bei would have no chance, given his demonstrated speed in taking Yizhou...

Good point, he did take forever, didn't he? Even with both advisors still alive.

Liu Bei might be able to escape to Yizhou if Chibi was lost. It all depends whether Sun Quan decides to continue fighting or signs a surrender with Cao Cao. If i remember he did have a large army in reserve in case Chibi was lost. If Cao Cao still had to fight through that then Liu Bei may have enough time to escape to Yizhou and establish a stronghold there.

Lady Wu just explained why Yizhou would most likely lead to Liu Bei's defeat.

Liu Bei could always flee farther south and establish a power base there among the Shanyue territory, along with any remnants of the Wu force who wish to oppose Cao Cao. But then it's just a matter of time before he's wiped out.
