He lead that attack single handedly against a bigger force. The fact that he got out of ther castle alive in the force place is a credit to his stratergy if not his fighting abiliy. Thats before he even gets to Liu Yong or Sun Ce's forces.

but not crazy like Gan Ning, only one hundred

but i'm mistaken. From what you tell Taishi Ci's experience on battlefield have been proved. i wonder why at Chi Bi war, his name never show up?

I believe he died briefly after Sun Ce. My focus on this era tends to be before Sun Ce's death, after that I don't know too much

Correct, I focus on the time before Sun Ce's death but even what I do knopw after that doesn't tend to be about Wu as I am very anti-Sun Quan. Taishi Ci is a better warrior, he thought to a draw with Sun Ce for starters. As for commander I've given you examples of early on in his carear.

Hmm... still if you have followed it after Sun Quan. Gan Ning will be your choice. he is a good warrior and a good commander using 100 troops to raid Wei's encampment without losing neither a man nor horse. that is what Gan Ning capable of. I'm a pro Shuist and an anti Sun Quan.
