The main event is getting REAL.

Getting rid of half those games is going to be tough, in some brackets at least.

Best Game of 2000-09 is also a pretty star-studded category, maybe just because it was my university years, so I did some memorable gaming then. :)

FF VII is already out I guess? Probably not the best Final Fantasy game, but I think it had the biggest impact overall.
Although VI is very good, I just couldn't see putting it above VII. I understand if others feel differently.

All my strategy nominations are eliminated except FF Tactics :(
Panzer General was/is considered the best war sim of all time, probably the purist strategy game on the list.
It came in second in '94 to another great strategy game X-Com UFO Defense for game of the year. (PC Gamer)
