Some games have little to no DLC, while some go overboard. I have CK2, I have EU4, I have Stellaris, but I don't have any DLC for them (except the ones given for free).

And at the extreme end, some games go beyond absurdity. When you get a chance, hop onto Steam and see how much it'd cost to get all of Train Simulator's DLC.
Unless I specifically say otherwise, assume I am talking about historical Three Kingdoms, and not the novel.

I do agree some games are absurd with DLC though I have tended to be happy with DLC I got for my games
