So... is anyone else playing? Haha...

I got addicted playing with Blake and Hope back in the day. I still love the game.

Those are pretty good levels for your first badge.
Weren't they ignoring you?

no there not, i dont think pokemon you catch ignore you, mostly happens to me when i trade. il start to make one of my pokemon higher than 20 before i get my 2nd badge and test it out though.

i try to be at least 2 or 3 levels higher than the gym leaders started that trend ever since i was destroyed in gold version by the third gym leader and her miltank.

well i got my 2nd badge and my pokemon were as such, monferno lvl 24, luxio lvl 22, psyduck lvl 22, misdreavas lvl 22, and staravia lvl 22 all of them listened to me so i dont think it applies for pokemon you catch i think its just pokemon you trade with.

is it wierd that i still consider myself underleveled??? O_o

After playing Pearl, Platinum doesn't really sound too thrilling to me. Pearl was fun, but I just kind of got tired of it. It did sound like they added some neat wi-fi things for Platinum, though.

My suggestion: Save right before getting your Eevee, and keep resetting til you get a female. I started over just to do that, as building perfect Eevee-evo's is one of my favorite hobbies. But as of right now, my team is:

Empoleon
Luxray
Staraptor
Houndoom
Glaceon
Giratina

Giratina's spot was filled by Gardevoir, but Mr. Tina just dominates, and this is my first time having him. I'm sure it'll get the job done with the Elite Four, and then I move onto intense and grueling EV/IV breeding and training.

just got platinumfor my self, going for my 4th badge, team:

Infernape lvl 36
Gyaradose lvl :34
Jolteon lvl:34(just got to solaceon town and found a thunder stone in the ruins, theres also a water and fire stone as well.)
staraptor lvl 35
Gabite lvl 36

my last pokemon i was thinking will be a tangrowth, never trained one before so it sounds interesting. il worry about EV's after the game were i will breed them all and probably make most of the sweepers and switch staraptor for skamory so i can have a spiker/ stealth rock set up
