CARDINALS WIN THE WORLD SERIES IN 7!!!

Too bad Human5. The Rangers had the series all but won at the end of game 6 and lost the momentum and the series.

It really seems like you are happy that the Rangers lost just for me to be wrong.

Game 6 was really a tough day for Rangers fans, because they had two chances, both that were just 1 strike away, or catch away, and they just didn't complete it. Cardinals deserve to win the world series, however I really believe that it was the Rangers losing.

If I were attempting to get my jollies off on you, I didn't do a good job of it. As I stated, I actually wanted the Rangers to win last year and I even went as far as going on a limb for them this year even though I thought the Cards would win.

You shouldn't take away from the Cards just to make it seem like the Rangers were being generous. They were beaten by a better team just as they were last year. The Cards had better pitching and an offense that could put up points in the clutch. They were also on a roll throughout September and October. No one, including Texas, were going to stop them.

The Rangers had many chances to win a game. Two of them were one strike away. The other was a missed catch that should have been made. Rangers actually could have won that game 6 and the World Series, but just threw away their chances. It was much more than an regular extra inning-game.

Of all the kinds of losses there are, why did Texas have to experience this one! :rangry:

That's baseball. It's not like what happened is rare. Heck, I'm a Braves fan and I have to relive that 2-0 blown World Series when they practically gave the Yankees 4 straight games, every once in a while on ESPN.

I thought the Rangers had the game won (game 6) and didn't bother checking back until just before bed. I was a bit shocked to see that instead of claiming the series in 6, they lost game 6 in the 11th inning. Maybe next year. They certainly have the team to do it.

Yes it was.

Having experienced the Mavs losing to Miami Heat in 2006 NBA finals after they had a 2-0 lead, I can say that the feeling is not even close to similar.

You must not watch very much baseball outside of Rangers baseball. They lost in the last out twice, it's happen before, don't dwell on it. It would have been proper for you to say it is rare to 'you'.

You know, you're right. The Braves were the clear favorite and had a dynamic pitching staff and in every way on paper and performance wise were the better team throughout the season and the playoffs. The Heat were already the better team with the combo of Shaq and Wade and the Mavs were just good on paper. So I'd suppose that only that of Cuban and Mavs fans would be disappointed.

Given how long it took you to respond and how you responded, you seem to be picking an argument and simply upset over the fact that your favorite team lost.

It was actually the last strike, and a missed catch.

Yes, I am right.

What is your purpose of all this? The Braves have won many championships. After the Mavs led 2-0, fans actually though the Mavs were going to win their FIRST championship. Of course Mavs fans would be dissapointed. I don't care what the fans of the Boston Celtics or New Orlean Saints feel about it. I wanted Detroit to beat Pitsburg in the NHL finals a few years ago, and I'm not mourning, because they lost.

You're arguement has nothing to do with how the Braves 2-0 blowon lead compares to the Rangers loss.

Your username should denote why it isn't rare in the first place. Baseball players are human and make errors in most games. I've seen those kinds of losses time and time again, albeit during the regular season more often but it's not as rare as you're making it out to be.

What is your purpose of all this? The Braves have won many championships. After the Mavs led 2-0, fans actually though the Mavs were going to win their FIRST championship. Of course Mavs fans would be dissapointed.

Follow the post trend and you'll see the purpose. You're putting up an purposeless argument to defend a team that really wasn't the favorite to win the championship. They weren't even the favorite to come out of the west that year.

Which fans believed that, by the way? I think we both know that answer. The analysts during that year were still skeptical as the Mavs were unproven up until then. They were more shocked that the Heat were down by 2. The better team won then and last year the better team won, simple as that.

Yes I am, and it's perfectly normal.

Of course it is, and if you noticed I was clearly pointing that out.

It would also be adviseable to not go about trying to prove why both the Rangers and Mavs were such big favorites to win those championships that it was a shock they lost. Neither proved anything during the season or historically that would lead to such belief that they were favored to win the championship.

Side note: I probably wouldn't have responded if you didn't come off as whining, complaining, and being overly argumentative.

That's not the reason I made Human my username, and can you give some examples?

You are wrong, I am simply just expressing why I was upset. I have not said anywhere that Texas should have won, and in fact, my first post after their loss said that the Cardinals deserve to win. I just didn't like how Texas threw away their prime opportunity to win.

Yes I am, and it's perfectly normal.

You are mistakenly changing my words. I have not said at all the the Rangers and Mavs were the favorites to win, and it doesn't matter who is the one expected to win. The fans of the losing team would be dissapointed.
