Seems like one or two clubs are getting edgy about Brexit following the transfer window (Spurs, Burnley, Stoke have used it). I don't know if they are seeking to shift blames for disappointing windows, summer has brought things to light or they just feel emboldened to make such claims despite it being divisive

Surprised Jose hasn't blamed Brexit for Pogba lashing out.

Especially interesting as the clubs speaking out are those from Brexit voting populations. If only they'd made the case during the referendum.

My friend has bullied me into doing premier league fantasy football for the first time in years so I'm going to pay closer attention than ever to the football I suspect!

I'm trying not to get to excited for depressed about Arsenal right now, Emery is in a rebuilding phase so I'm cutting him a lot of slack for the next 10 games or so!

How long till Sterling misplaces a pass for England and certain papers demand he be deported after his recent stand against their promotion of racism?

Mou has left United! I don't know whether to be glad his gone or sad that United might become a threat again.

I do think there are some deep, underlying issues within the club hierarchy. Woodward is director of football and while he might be a very able business man he knows nothing about the sport. His constant refusal to buy manager's targets has caused issues for every manager since SAF left. However even if that was remedied I think Mou's relationship with his players was so poisonous that they couldn't succeed with him at the helm.

I think a new manager coming in will have a reasonably talented squad that have more to give then Mou was getting out of them. However I can't see them competing with the likes of Liverpool or City without more fundamental change higher up.

Yeah there has clearly been issues with the squad and long term planning before Jose came in, think board needed to consider Jose's position when they were going "eh, not sure I want to give him money for his new centrebacks after his choices were so bad last year". Jose has been trying to get himself sacked this season and I don't blame his players if they hate him, even world cup wins he will use to bash them

Was talks of Man U getting a DOF in summer, if that is there plan then that needs to be sorted first or new manager is going to have an issue.

Wow. Last night was just incredible! Best game of football I think I can recall ever seeing. Nearly got myself lynched though - I was in a Spur's pub and cheering when Sterling scored his first goal! I thought the crowd would be a pretty even mix of Spurs and Arsenal fans . I discovered how wrong I was when Son scored and the pub literally shook. In the end it was probably better for my safety that Spur's won but I was devastated when Sterling's goal wasn't given.

I'm just a little bit scared that Spurs might have finally learnt how to win in the big games .

We are still a bit short on that.

Not saying that winning the CL is impossible. On our day, we can beat any team as our ceiling is incredibly high. However, we still have a lot of weaknesses in the club that can and probably will cost us games. We are incredibly weak under pressure which is quite ironic considering our affinity for counter attacks. All the teams left in the CL are capable of exerting that kind of pressure so it's not going to be easy to win these big games.

Secondly, I've never been fully convinced of Poch's subs and sub timings and I feel like that's incredibly important in winning big games. Being able to put in the right players to absorb pressure or even act as a release valve is something that he needs to improve on.

Still stoked that we made it to the semis. At this point I'm just here for the ride. But to think that we had 1 point after the first 3 games of the group stages and we are now 2 results away from the finals is nothing short of a feat.

I'm seriously hoping you're right, but normally that City game is the point in the season when you buckle and implode. This weekend's game will be huge for the balance of power in North London.

Arsenal should boycott the Europa final, if one player can't go due to security concerns then none should go and force Uefa to actually act. I'm not sure "oh yes, very sad, toodles" is (however much they care) actually going to send a signal of support

I feel Chelsea are making a mistake with managerial change. There is a case that Sarri might be wrong guy for transfer ban era but I don't think that is why and if rumours of Lampard planned successor is true, that feels like a big mistake is coming. Sarri did well under difficult circumstances where Chelsea+Conte row cost him key time, Lampard did well enough in first season but clearly has a lot to learn. Not wise he learns it at Chelsea of all clubs
