On the top of the page… sure enough, how about that…

The Destiny of an Emperor pages are linked toward the bottom of the page though. :)

Destiny of an Emperor II Walkthrough!

Unread postby James » Wed May 17, 2006 10:59 pm

5/17/06: Since we posted our last update, I have been working on a game guide/walkthrough for Destiny of an Emperor II. This time around, I’ve prepared a special treat—as I work on the plain text version of the guide, I’m going to convert an HTML version to go along with it. The plain text version is still in development, but I would like to announce the first sections of our Destiny of an Emperor II Graphical Strategy Guide! Presently, all of Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and a great deal of Chapter 3 are online! As time passes, Chapter 3 will be completed, and the following chapters will also begin to appear. If you see any problems, or would like to contribute information, please let us know!

Yes… it currently hates Internet Explorer.

I fixed a few bugs in IE, but the old one of text on the page vanishing is still around. People who have been viewing KMA in Internet Explorer have probably seen this one before. I’ll have a look at it later. For now, enjoy Firefox, Safari, Opera, or whatever browser you have that actually works… :|

I have fixed (hopefully) the Internet Explorer bugs, and in the process learned quite a bit more about the manner in which text vanishes from areas of Kongming's Archives. It turns out it is simply due to bad programming on the part of Microsoft’s engineers (no surprise there), is a well known issue, and a number of unusual fixes for the problem have circulated around the internet.

I tested in Internet Explorer 6, and I got everything to work perfectly. I am not sure if there are any bugs in older versions of Internet Explorer. If there are, I may be able to work around them (please feel free to submit them if you encounter any). That aside, the section is ready to enjoy!

I also added more content to Chapter 3.
