There's already a topic for DT here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=12889

It just hasn't been used in a few years and never had the popularity to justify making it a sticky.

When Koei Forum is Down do a Search.

Dynasty Tactics 2 Play Along Strategy Guide.Novice version.
Dynasty Tactics 2 Charts and Lists.
Dynasty Tactics 2 Quick Look Strategies That Work.

More difficult to read without Colors or Motion. Some of the Lists are crunched.

Uncertain if they will be available again online.

I'm only asking this because playing as Wei, I noticed Gao Shun, who is the leader of my second army, actually has higher leadership than war, as well as what seems to be one of the highest leadership stats of all 'warriors'.

Not sure about the growths being affected by units, but Gao Shun's always had great Leadership in my game, so that just might be how his stats work.

Unit selection has no effect on stat boosting as far as I'm aware in DT2. Every character has a set stat growth figure. For example:

SSN 3 War - 3 INT - 3 LEA

Lu Meng 2 WAR - 4 INT - 3 LEA

Ma Chao 2-1-2

Stat boosting is my big thing. I'm trying to get any army built where every character has at least 90 for every stat category.

34 Int

100 Lea

I was not impressed when I got compared to Sun Quan in my last game. I wanted Sun Ce! :(

I can't tell if Dynasty Warriors Godseeker is like DW Tactics or very different. Anyone got any details?

Hi everyone! Just checking in after a very lengthy absence - I bought a PS2 and have started playing DT2 again and have been enjoying it. I am looking to get Liu Bei and Cao Cao rankings (which was a goal that eluded me back in when I was most actively playing last), so wish me luck!

Just wanted to check in and see how everybody has been doing, and if anyone is playing the game anymore. Also, to second Dong Zhou, for anyone who has played DW Godseekers - would you recommend it for an oldschool Tactics fan?

I wish DT either version was on PSN for Ps4 backward compatibility.

I'm playing Godseekers and while I like it, it is not like DT. If your looking for a game strong in tactics then I wouldn't recommend it, it is more a DW type tone. The only challenge (even on hard) really is in story/characters where a setplay ambush or something (or simply some super high level figures) can force readjustment of your plans but even then a well placed synchro attack pretty much wipes out anything

This. My PS2 packed up about 18 months ago and I've got a PS4 now but really miss being able to fire up DT2 on a regular basis!
