WhatCulture.com has a few Total War: 3K related articles up right now. It's actually trending right now, alongside stuff like Marvel, Super Smash Brothers, and Friends.

http://whatculture.com/topic/total-war-three-kingdoms

I'm sure if viewership goes up and it keeps trending they'll produce even more 3k content.

The assassinations one has some weird choices, including kills in battle though their descriptions are fun, corruption seems like a real problem they have and have noticed people wanting Diao Chan, got 65% on quiz (did well till near the end)

i somehow got 90%. I haven't read the novel in years so a lot of them were guesses based off how I recall the character being portrayed.

Ones I got wrong were 5 and 20.

I missed three. I forgot about that "piglets and puppies" quote. That was a good one :)

That awful website is littered with ads... what an eyesore.

Just finished my first campaign with Gongsun Zan. He was still alive but late 80s by the time I completed it. Endgame was a bit of a slog as I was so much more powerful than anyone else but Wu still has loads of land. In the end I force marched stacks upon stacks to the other side of the map and took his capital.

Overall really enjoyed it but I might take a break for a bit before starting one with the big Dong.

Allies that actually useful is a great addition to the game
- Liu Zhang asked for alliance with me in the late game to flank Wu capitol. Liu Bei holding the east against Kong Rong -
It made the final 3 kingdoms phase less of a slog for my GSZ game.

onward as Cao Cao next, tried DZ but economically crippled and had to give up

What is desperately needed in future updates is a check on Wu in the south. At the moment they have far too much room to expand and invariably dominate the southern portion of the map very easily.

Whether than comes in the form of Wang Lang/Yan Baihu (complete with a Taishi Ci event) or Nanman or whatever I don’t know.

I was thinking about writing a guide to army composition and winning field and siege battles but I'm not sure if anyone is interested. Any thoughts?

I can only speak for myself, but I'd be very interested any guides you'd care to post. Especially composition and formations. And best ways to deal with towers.
I felt I did pretty well in most battles from past strategy game experiences. Not as familiar with RTS as much as turned based. I'm still learning the pros and cons of certain formations and the best spots for units like spears on the flanks or such. Your earlier posts were helpful also.
I'm surprised how fast you're going through the campaigns. 5th one now? I've spent over an hour on one turn and still botched things up haha.

Diplomacy and economics are taking some getting used to in my games. So far, I think it's a much better game than I thought it would be.
