Thanks a bunch for posting that.

Some quick notes on those from what I can recall:

You don't need to kill all enemies in Battle 4 (Jieting) to get the Silk Gloves, they're automatic either way.

For the Golden Armor in Battle 7 (Wudu), it's on the tent in the city, make sure you pick it up there.

For the Phoenix Fan at battle 11 (Wuzhang), I'm looking at the code and it does look like you need to have talked to Sima Yi at Hanzhong for his extended conversation at Wuzhang; however, that doesn't appear to have any effect on getting the Phoenix Fan after the battle.

Expect a new stage out in a day or two, along with some gameplay translations (items, equipment, spells, Battle names).

Looking forward to it! While the early stages are simple enough without knowing what some equipment does, later on it could become a nuisance.

I've played around with some of the gameplay text and tried to translate most of what I could find. This should clear up a lot of issues if you had any questions about what means what.

I've also added Battle 6 as well.

Since there were a lot of files involved with that, I've reuploaded a copy of the entire game (not including the soundtrack).

Be aware that there may be some save issues. If you remember the Long Name issues that came up with the Cao Cao and Lu Bu translations (where the save name is so long that it blows the game up when you try to load the file), that did happen to me a couple of times when working on this. Any new games using these files should be fine, but watch out if you are loading an old file. Fortunately, this kind of thing should not crop up again.

Hmm, I noticed you didn't include the Soundtrack (pretty obvious reasons, it's very hefty, easy to just copy and paste the folder we already have.) but the Sv's were Save file's right? Well... everything looked fine and okay, until I went to the next scene...

Unless Xiang Lang is pretending to be Jiang Wei for this scene, I think something must have went wrong.

EDIT: I reloaded it and everything was fine...? Well that was weird. No complaints here, hehe. I'll post my normal responses as I continue on.

The Soundtrack file alone is twice as large as the rest of the date put together. I've added it in the first post as a seperate download.

And yes, the Sv files are save files.

I wonder why Xiang Lang showed up for you there. Very strange.

Just a bit of proof-reading...

"Jiang Wei: I thin your father must be a great man..."

"Narration: Cao Zhen's concern was well-founded. Cao Xiu was thoroughly deceived by Zhou Fan's surrender plot..."

"Jiang Wei This time will your also permit me to help guard the rear?"

Oh man, they really make you sympathize with the opposing forces in this one. Cao Xiu claiming to have become careless because of his jealousy over Cao Zhen's defeat is really sad when you consider that Cao Zhen and Cao Xiu grew up in the same home together and I personally always saw the two as rivals. So to see the game acknowledge that is an interesting thing. The fellow who made this had a clear and overwhelming understanding of the personages of the period.

Ah... equipment descriptions I love it!

Oh boy, there's something pretty screwed up here...

Image

I don't think Liu Yin is supposed to have 255 MP, no amount of reloading has fixed that. However since he doesn't use MP (Yet?) Then it's not really a big deal.

I'll see if I can fix it. Liu Yin never gets spells, if I remember right, so it should be a non issue.

Oy, what a fight... If you choose the second option there is no way I could see to get the Seal by taking out All of the enemies, especially with idiotic "I'll attack you even if I get killed!" Fei Yao, I imagine it would still be difficult normally without choosing the second option. But I did get the Xiliang Horse out of the deal, so that's always nice. Jiang Wei gained a couple of levels, and that's always good.

And that's where my journey ends for now. What a lot of text though before the fight! You must have had your hands full with that one. As always keep up the great work,

Hard Mode can be especially hard when you try to combine it with getting all of the Seals (particularly if it's a "defeat all enemies" seal).

There was a whole lot of text in the cutscenes this time, yeah, but the length of scenes comes and goes between battles. The next one's going to be a bit shorter.
