Destiny of an Emperor 2.0 (Version 1.1 Released!)

Discussion of other Three Kingdoms games (e.g. Destiny of an Emperor and Dynasty Tactics) and other games by Koei (e.g. Samurai Warriors).

Tough stuff with Wen Hun. Gotta love that name. I say keep him with that name in that battle - it suits him best and provides the toughest challenge, imo, with Xu Shou and Yan Liang there.

Not sure about what to do with Wang, I say just let him take over for Pang Tong. Sure Pang Tong is sweet but I think the novelty factor of having Wang take over his role in that random battle is best.

I actually did come up with something. I put Wen Chou at the first battle instead of Lu Guang [Kuang], beefed up that battle to make it hard itself, and added Cui Yan to the Xu Shao [You] battle in place of Wen Hun [Chou]. I was sorely tempted to leave Wen Hun there, but I think I’ll be able to make things more than challenging enough as they are now. Also, both Yan Liang and Wen Chou (along with other nasties from the area) will sport an attack power of, I believe, 100. I was tempted to give both Yan Liang and Wen Chou the power to hit with a sword, but I figure that will be too much.

If we aren’t challenged by them enough when we play, there’s always that upgrade. :)

I think there’ll just be a Wang edition of DoaE 2.0.

- DoaE 2.0 with Pang Tong
- DoaE 2.0 with Wang
- Kong Wen’s edition

I may be the only one that is not a fan of Wang the Tiger. :P

You're more than welcome to patronize the "Kong Wen" version of the game. ;)

How can you not like Wang the Tiger?

Have you played SimRTK? I suppose that is Wang’s prime domain. Hehe.

Don’t worry, you’ll have a Pang Tong version to play. He’ll still fight you, but he’ll kick your ass in ways you’ve never imagined. Wang would do the same, however, so it all balances out in the end.

I think you’ll really enjoy what I’ve done with Xu Shu. :)

Whew! Finally finished Yuan Shao’s territory.
It was much more work than I expected. I hope the other territories go much more smoothly. I had to put nearly as much work into Yuan Shao’s territory as I did Wu (but Wei still takes the cake by far).

Wow… it was really hard to find these guys in random encounters…
(I suppose that is a good thing for people playing the game.)

Wen Chou… that’s right, Chou

You will have the pleasure of meeting him at the first castle.

He may be the most dangerous general in the entire region.

Bwahaha! I thought I had to work today, but I don’t!

That means I get to dump more time into this little project. :P

Time for Yuan Shu’s territory.
Chen Ji, Chen Lan, Han Xian, Ji Ling, Lei Bo, Li Feng, Liang Gang, Liang Ji, Lu Fan, Yuan Shu, Yuan Yin, Zhang Xun

Those are the region’s regular officers. I placed key nasties in bold. Does anyone have new officers to suggest? Any thoughts on existing officers? I’m working on it now. :)

I think Ji Ling is vastly underrated. I hope his power is at least 220 or more.
