Musou: Orochi Discussion Thread

Platform : PS2
Release Date : March 29, 2007

A fantastic story included many characters from DW and SW. It's said there's an evil existence "Orochi", for his ambition he has captured many famous warriors from earth. Since the situation is dangerous, some warriors like Cao Pi join Orochi and others decide to fight against him.

Some interesting details is released, like Nobunaga has mysterious blood relationship with Cao Cao......etc.

o0o, interesting...I see Kunoichi!! I also see Ina paired with the Xiahou Yuan and Huang Zhong!!
Some interesting details is released, like Nobunaga has mysterious blood relationship with Cao Cao
Sure looking at that first shot, Yukimura and Zhao Yun are long lost brothers!!

Since this isn't completely Dynasty Warriors, I'm going to move it to the Other Koei Game Subforum!!
If becoming enlightened or an intellectual means I must become arrogant and coldly cynical about the world around me then I'd gladly remain a fool for the rest of my life!!

This is ridiculous. I see no originality on Koei's part. It's so freaking rehashed...although I somehow was expecting this.

Wow. I think Lu Bu would still own. The clash of the two cultures might turn into some very interesting conflicts.

Anyone notice the f-bombs on the 3rd page?

The problem is, you shouldn't really be expecting a lot out of this game, it's a last hurrah to the PS2 and giving some of it's fans what they wished for, a merger between DW and SW, to say it's any more then that would probably discredit their ideas.

This seems like a very interesting concept, I cannot wait to give this ago, i think they should have done new character models for the DW characters, the SW characters look better in my oppinion (SW2 being a newer game). It could be an interesting hit with some awesome battles.
