so he wasn't actually drunk? and I'm pretty sure there had to be at least a few guys with him historically when he did this.

Yes 10 very surprised men. Vs the prepared forces of Zhang Xiu

so he pretty much went there with a small band of men and tried holding off the enemy army by them selves at the main gate? And was he just fighting the enemy or did he go their knowing that he was trying to hold off the army until cao cao escaped?

Yep and presumably the second though chances are, he knew his own fate

so overall I say my thoughts on dian wei are a heroic and loyal body guard who was strong but yet still rather unimportant but why isn't xu chu on the list and why not zhang fei those two were very brave.

I think the the thread is based on a certain act they did which included them being brave and willing to sacrifice their lives fighting. Zhang Fei's act was holding Cao Cao's men at bay, he didn't fight. Xu Chu, well his duels were fictional.

well zhao yun didn't fight too much when he saved liu shan he only killed xiahou en. zhang fei was prepared to fight but none would attack him. So now I think zhang fei should be added but not soo much xu chu anymore.

Xiahou En was fictional. But when Zhao Yun came back surely he had to fight a few of Cao Cao's troops unless he avoided them all somehow.

its possible that he avoided them but still highly unlikely, anyways the thread is called the bravest of the brave and nothing about fighting, and zhang fei was among the bravest.
