Hey that stuff looks great. If it is possible do you think that you can put the pinyin of those next to it also? I don't know how to read chinese characters.

I just wanted to let you guys know that this is so nice! :P I love knowing ranks and now hopefully my mind can see where people stack up better now.

um...I'm with Lu Kang..if it's not too much trouble. Wishing I could read Chinese and actually doing it are two different things. :)

Which ones do you want the pinyin to?

1) The ones that were already translated into english?

2) The ones that weren't translated into english?

3) Or all of them?

If you don't mind waiting, I'll do them after this Friday. After the exam on Friday I'll have some free time to look it over. Unless someone else wants to do it first, it's alright with me. Not mentioning any names

I think Lu Kang would say the ones not translated or all of them..since they aren't translated I don't believe either of us can make sense of em. For myself I vote do whatever you can. Your the one going out of your way to help me out so anything is fine with me! :D

Thank-you! :P

A question, Jiang Zhi: Is you ranking list of the Wei ranking or the Jin ranking?

The "unranked" titles are sometimes arbitrary granted for some specific event. All three kingdomes invented a lot of titles in their time.

Here's the list of civil officers that I've put together a while ago, based on the translation by de Crespigny in an early work (forgot which one). Entries are alphabeticized by Pinyin.

Wow, thanks for all your hard work. This is really cool!

Suprisingly, some of these characters posted here I can recognize. I am guessing that 軍 means General?
