This completes the "gap" I had between the end of Fang's Chronicles and the earlier portion of ZZTJ I was working on. I hope everyone enjoys the stories of Western and Eastern Jin. Please continue to let me know if you have any feedback or corrections.

The work you've done with this, and the second part is a real gift to those in the west with a passion for this period, and those of us that want to truly get into it. A big ol' thank you for your hard work in translating all of this. I'll be diving into part 2 very soon.

Did you translate all of Sima Guang's textual analysis or only a selection?

I have been translating all the parts of it that Hu Sanxing attaches to the relevant parts of the text for these chapters; there's a lot more of it that applies to pre- or post-Jin stuff. It's possible I missed some; if I did, please let me know. I know that originally the whole thing was its own separate section, but I haven't double-checked it by itself yet.

This is so awesome. Is there any chance now that this is done that a Part 3 might emerge? :) Perhaps until the end of Western Jin? Would be interesting to read of the rise of Northern Wei.
I bought Imperial Warlord and the tome. Hardcovers are awesome.

I'll think about it; plenty of things to edit and update in the current parts first though.
